The Get eBay Data is a new page that you can access from your Curation Dashboard Item. You will find the link to it under Price Points:
It has the four values to set:
- Search Keywords. Be specific as it will search eBay Sold Items just by those. "Hasbro Black Series Star Wars" is good, "Corgi" on its own might not work as well if you want to get Corgi Toys and not Corgi-showing dog postcards...
- Database Item Type. This makes further work easy. Chose the most likely type (you can always change the type for data in the Workbench)
- Brand. This helps finding items in Manage Database Items table and if creating new Database Items (this field is optional but generally recommended
- Series. This helps finding items in Manage Database Items table and if creating new Database Items (this field is optional and sometimes recommended
Data should appear in your Workbench almost immediately but Price Points will take a little bit longer. You must wait until the Price Points arrive (you often need to check them to see if they are suitable to keep).
If you get an error message refresh the page and try again. This tool is still Work-in-Progress, comments are welcome (please post in the Curation Matters Forum).
